Karnataka boy dies after mother throws him in crocodile-infested waters

In Uttara Kannada, a young woman threw her disabled 6-year-old child into a crocodile infested body of water after an argument with her husband. The couple reportedly argued over their son's condition and the husband seemingly blamed his wife for giving birth to a disabled child. The woman's husband, Ravi Kumar is said to have told her several times to throw the child away, and after this last argument, she finally did it. The police arrived at the scene too late to save the six-year-old, as it was dark during their rescue attempts. The next day, police were able to recover what was left of the child's body, which reportedly was missing a hand and had several bite marks across his body. No word on any pending charges against the parents.
